Maryland is the home of 'Save a Patriot Fellowship'. The word 'patriot' comes from the 'Latin' word 'patri' meaning 'father'. Jesus said in Matthew 23:9 "And
call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." In the Greek text of the Bible we find the Latin word "Patri" for the word 'Father'. This statement by Jesus always bothered me until I learned that all the Senators of
Rome were called 'Patri' and even the Emperors were called 'Patronus' meaning 'Our Father'.
Jesus came to save the people in Spirit and in Truth.
Being a savior of the people can take many forms. August Caesar was called 'savior' and so was Herod the Great. Jesus the Christ offered salvation in spirit and in truth.
Jesus knew that for people to be truly free that had to accept the responsibility of free choice that accompanies a free state. The early Christian Patriot would not apply to any other “Patri upon the earth” for to them there was only one Patri and one Patronus to pray to.
We need to find ways to come together under "the perfect law of liberty", under the Father who gives us liberty for all liberty is of God. I thought I would start with people who live near or in Maryland, especially Carol County and Westminster.
Are there any other groups or individuals in that area that would like to bear witness to the Rites of Holy Matrimony as those early Christians Patriots of the Father once did?
Why do we ask?
We have two individuals who would like to get married by the vows and union of Holy Matrimony. We will be publishing more on what and how that free Domestic Relationship can be recorded. The free marriage is the bedrock of all free societies. One of the critical elements to establish a free relationship successfully is to do it before a congregation of the People as both witness and remedy.
Deuteronomy 19:15 ... at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.
Matthew 18:16 ...then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
...In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2Corinthians 13:1
So if you would like to help with this solemn practice of a free society and live near or in Maryland get in touch with at the Church by emailing us here.

We will try to bring more people together in other areas in the days ahead. The more we work at networking the faster the network will grow.
One of the best kept secrets of our time is that the kingdom of God was a "viable republic" operating in the heart of the Roman Empire. As Rome declined into a state of chaos, famine and violence the Christians prospered. Envy brought persecution and finally the Emperor tried to create his own brand of Roman Christianity.
The phrase kingdom of God in the Greek simply means the right to be ruled by God and not by other men who think they are gods. Christ like John and Moses and Abraham was teaching about liberty under God.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. Psalms 119:45
What are the precepts of God? One is to not covet thy neighbor's goods even through the agency of governments. Because Christians would not participate in the social welfare schemes of the Pharisees, Rome or other countries of the “world”, they were compelled by necessity to aid one another in a network of freewill charity.
It had to be efficient and effective in order to spark the interest of good people. It wasn't a matter of blind faith but faithful understanding and diligence.
For any system of charity and general welfare to function without corruption and abuse it was essential that congregations, or cell groups, of the early Christians had to remain small and intimate, sincere and dedicated. Like the early settlers in the wilderness of this country people had to be willing and ready to drop what ever they were doing to come to the aid of their neighbor.
They didn't wait for some bureaucracy or distant government to come to their aid or provide some service, they tended to it themselves. Only from such people can liberty be nurtured.
The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18
The world governments in the days of the decline of Rome were overwhelmed with successive depressions and inflation caused by the use of iron coin, instead of silver coin, and excessive public debt. The dept was caused by a burgeoning welfare system, excessive military spending, and corruption which drained the national treasury. Efforts were made to forestall the inevitable, including an increase in debilitating taxation on the middle class, stealing of the natural resources of neighboring states and and cutting back on former benefits and civil services. This all lead to a general mistrust of one corrupt regime after another. The rise of the Roman police state to maintain order brought oppression and abuse within the courts. Maintaining the power of the state became more important than the liberty and rights of the citizens.
There had already been a break down of the family preceded by a decline in the congregating of families in a voluntary charitable network of “hearths”. This had been the basis of social health in the rise of Rome.
People of history who have gathered together according to the precepts of the teachings of men like Abraham, Moses and Jesus were able to survive the decline and fall of the nations bound together under the world order of the Pax Romana.
In order for this network to work, the people had to have an abiding interest in mercy and justice and they had to care about others as much as they cared about themselves. Small groups cared for each other's real and practicle needs, but were also linked in a network of charity and faith. This is what Abraham and Moses, John and Jesus and many other prophets of God have done for thousands of years in order to become free people and remain free from the tyranny and despotism of authoritarian benefactors.
Such governments of trust and faith, hope and mercy did not come about over night but began with simple mutual concerns for others. They learned to care about each others' liberty and life as much as they cared about their own personal liberty and needs.
Coming together in simple ways is what people need to do now, while it is easy and painless.

Real ID, Dividing the People
Since the events of September eleventh there has been a paranoid push for National ID. This universal ID has been touted as if some how the root of those events, what ever they were, could have been avoided if there was a National ID card. This reach for universal identification is not all that universal.
In a cabinet meeting back during the Reagan administration the idea of having a national ID card was presented. Jim Watt made the comment that it would be "like the mark of the beast". Reagan sarcastically said, "Why don't we just brand them when they are babies."
That was the end of the discussion but not the end of the effort.
In fact children are branded or marked at birth. No physical hot iron or inked tattoo is placed on them but a paper trail of identification is begun with a Birth Certificate.
None of this is new. In 168 AD Marcus Aurelius ordered that the birth of all children was to be registered with the Secretary of Treasury or Provincial Registrars within 30 days. This presented a serious problem for Christians who were not a part of the Roman systems of welfare and benefits. They considered such schemes as Nicolatian. They were warned by Jesus to call no man on earth Father. They understood what Jesus meant and that the Roman Emperor's power and authority was that of Patronus or Patria in the position of demanding, Parens Patria, obey the Father.
National ID is simply marking who is a child of the State and also, who is not. Those who will not participate in schemes of authoritarian benefactors who take away from one neighbor to give to another will be ostracized and excluded.

There is very little that can be done to stop the coming of National ID but there is much we can do to learn to live without it. This is What Christ, Moses and Abraham was trying to teach us. It was what the early Church was learning and practicing. It is up to each of us to seek the kingdom and His Righteousness by learning to come together under the perfect law of liberty with faith, hope and charity. There is no license for coveting your neighbors goods through the agency of the governments you create for yourselves.
David Alan Carmichael has being dealing with the issue of living without an SSN. The record that he has been setting through his work may eventually lead to a modern Exodus of the faithful.
Abraham left with “many souls”, Moses Exodus took millions to freedom and the baptism of Christ got the faithful kicked out of the Corban of the Pharisees.
