The UN, US and the Devvy Kidd article

A Kingdom view point.

There was a very good article written by Devvy Kidd that is located at:

In it she made a few statements which were interesting but should be expounded on.

The Constitution of the United States

"It is the supreme law of this land. In 1945, the United States unlawfully entered into a treaty with the Communist UN. First, the Seventeenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was never ratified. This is an indisputable fact backed up by indisputable documents. Therefore, the U.S. Senate seated in 1945, had no legal authority to sit in office, much less vote on any treaty. This is a legal fact. We have not had a legally serving Senate since 1913."

"If a constitution expressly provides that it may be amended only in a certain way and another way followed, such and attempted amendment is illegal; but if it is acquiesced in it becomes effective as a peaceful revolution such as took place when the United States Constitution took effect upon the ratification by nine states in spite of the fact that the old Articles of Confederation provided that they should not be amended without unanimous consent of the states." Clark's Sum. of American Law, Constitutional Law Chapt 1, .1 p. 462
The fact is the Constitution of the United States was never ratified according to the law at the time. The fact is the Constitution did not create the government but it created a government. Through application and participation one may become apart of that government.

She also states: "The UN is a private group of individuals who are funded by 170 countries on the globe. The UN is not a government. "

Yes that is true but that was also true of the United States. Many also don't realize that the majority of the people in America were in opposition to the ratification of the Constitution for the United States at the time of its creation by the individual States, which were as foreign to each other as Mexico is to Canada both before and after that Constitution.

"Owing to the way in which the conventions were held, the great opposition manifested everywhere, and the management required to secure the barest majorities for ratification, it seems impossible to avoid the conclusion that the greater part of the people were opposed to the Constitution."

"It was not submitted to the people directly, and in those days of generally limited suffrage, even those who voted for delegates to the State conventions were mostly of a propertied class, although the amount of property called for may have been slight." History of the U.S. by James Truslow Adams V.1. pp. 258-259.

Devvy also states, "I love our Republic. I don't want to see one more American die from terrorism, but this course that Bush is pursuing will come back to haunt this nation a thousand fold. "

This is more true than most would like to believe. But people should understand exactly what a true Republic is.

Republic vs. Democracy

Democracy vs. Demagogue

That republic is still here and so is that democracy. The Republic is neither dependent on the constitution nor the governing body it created. Republics are dependent upon individuals "free from things public" coming together under the perfect law of liberty.

This is what Christ taught. This is what the kingdom of heaven is all about. A true Republic and Freedom is not about turning other people around it is about turning ourselves around. That is what is meant by the word repent.

The problems we face today are no different than those that plagued mankind 2000 years ago. The solution has not changed either.

Jesus did not preach religion but a kingdom which was "a viable Republic in the heart of the Roman Empire." He did not preach that it was coming in 2000 years but he preached it was at hand.

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand
