ARTICLE III - Conscience of the Church

Line 1. Ministers are answerable in conscience only to God and the performance of his service.

In ancient times the high priest of a family was usually the first born son. In this position of advisor and steward to the Family that eldest son is in preparation to be elder of the family and heir to the estate of the family for the good of all. The more prosperous in wealth of Character of the whole family the more prosperous the High Priest of the family.

Numbers 3:12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;

At the time of Moses the Levites were chosen as the first born that opens the Matrix of the Kingdom. The first born within the Family still performed that function but with in the community as a Nation the Levites took on that role in its duties. After the long apostasy of God's Kingdom on earth, Jesus entered the world amongst the remnant of the kingdom. Judea was betraying almost every precept of God holding only to a distorted practice of the rituals and customs laid down by Moses but denying the intent and power of God's ways.

Numbers 7:5 Take [it] of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.

Jesus as High priest and king appointed the "Church" as the first born in Faith of the Kingdom. The Church appointed by Jesus supplanted the Levites in a more Faithful interpretation of God's Plan. It is the Church's job to minister to the kingdom as the original Levites did. The Church is those "called out" to serve the Families of the congregation by uniting them in one body, teaching them with one mind and heart and with the example of Jesus to propagate His doctrines and ordinances.

1 Corinthians 9:13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live [of the things] of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

It is the Kingdom and the Church working in concert that form a Nation of God on earth. Israel is the Nation where God, His ways and His Judgment Prevails1. This is the meaning of Israel. If a nation is not where the character of God prevails it is not Israel but an apostasy.

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

It is essential to the kingdom as a whole or the Church as the body or community serving the Kingdom that it is God that prevails in all their words and deeds.

Line 2. The individual elders give support to their minister "according to his service":

Just as the Ministers of the kingdom give their life to the people of the congregation and the world a reciprocation of giving must be by freewill choice and God given discretion. The ministers can not secure liberty by binding their constituency to specific performance.
