ARTICLE VIII - The objective of the Church

The objective of the Church is to fulfill its mission, unite the children of God as one body, to maintain the entrance on earth to the Kingdom of Heaven, to occupy the gate opened by Jesus the Christ the King, keeping it open and to receive, preserve, and propagate His doctrines and ordinances. This includes offering a system of arbitrating judges for all disputes within the body according to the consent of the people.

The Church also stands as the peaceful arbitrator for those who wish to serve in the Kingdom of Heaven doing the will of God both within the Kingdom and in the world.

The nature of the Church is to bring peace but to those who reject the ways of the Lord they will seem to bring conflict for in the peace of their convictions they become stones standing against the roar and perplexity of the sea and the opposing nations and the union of nations.

The knowing and living by the ways of God bring peace and in that peace the word of God flourishes.

It is not enough to speak of righteousness but one must do it also so that peace will go in the assurance of God's approval through Faith.

When one will not usurp God's judgment with force God will be his protector and right arm. In God's strength and wisdom those who truly trust in Him shall prevail.

Truth, justice and mercy are the desire at the heart of the Church. The just and merciful arbitration of all disputes within the body of the Church within the whole of the Kingdom and throughout the word is a primary objective of the ministers of God.

If men reach out with mercy, patience and sacrifice in the character and name of Christ to make peace with those who are against them, then there shall be no protection for such adversaries from the Wrath of God.

This is a clear directive to bring peace to all houses whatsoever there origin or status.

The Church is commanded to preach that He who established the Church is ordained as judge of mankind. So, the judgment of the Church is always arbitration not the exercise of authority. But the judgement of God is His alone.
